Badri Chaudhary

Badri Chaudhary was born in Chitwan, Nepal just a kilometre away from the Royal Chitwan National Park. He started his career at Chitwan, however, his keen interest in birds and extensive knowledge of the wildlife of his native Nepal has led to him finding at least six species which are new for the country.

Badri has been involved in mist-netting and data collection as part of a Nepali bird research programme for many years and now spend a significant percentage of his time working as a bird guide and is widely considered one of the country's leading experts in this field.
