Our popular tour to Costa Rica returned recently after a highly successful trip led by Gary Elton seeing a spectacular range of special birds including Resplendent Quetzel and Snowcap

Our popular tour to Costa Rica returned recently after a highly successful trip led by Gary Elton and local guide, Herman Venegas. Participants saw many of the special birds of Costa Rica including two of the country's most wanted species, namely Resplendent Quetzel and Snowcap. Other reasonably localised specialities which were recorded included Black Guan, Dusky Nightjar, White-bellied Mountaingem, Purple-throated Mountaingem, Scintillant Hummingbird, Finsch's Parakeet, Long-tailed Silky-flycatcher, Riverside Wren, Timberline Wren, Sooty Thrush, Sooty-faced Finch and Volcano Junco.

The tour will be running again in February 2024 and details will be published on our website very soon. If you wish to pre-register, however, then please contact the Limosa office and this will ensure you have first option when bookings are opened.
