David has lived in France for over 15 years and now resides in the Dordogne region, where he runs a wildlife tour business. Previously he worked for over twenty years as a warden on various sites of the coastline of Northern England, including Ravenglass and the Sefton coast. More recently he was island warden in Mauritius at Ile aux Aigrettes.
He has published articles in British Wildlife and is author of ‘Birding Dordogne’ in the popular BirdGuides series as well as a recent guide book to wildlife in Dordogne in the Crossbill Guides collection. David is also Butterfly Conservation’s European Interest Group contact in Dordogne.
