SAVE £150... CAPE MAY SPRING & AUTUMN

30/04/18

SAVE £££s!...  Thanks to recently improved airfares, we're pleased to announce SIGNIFICANT PRICE REDUCTIONS on our tours to New Jersey - SAVING £150pp on the previously advertised cost of our May and September 2018 tours to Cape May!...

Cape May is renowned as one of the very best places to observe bird migration in all of North America.

Our annual visits there are based at a single seafront hotel – just a stone’s throw from the beach, where Least Terns nest in spring and Black Skimmers gather in autumn. Within just a short distance are woods, fields, beaches and marshes, perfect for enjoying the amazing variety of birds that stream northwards through Cape May each spring and return south again every autumn.

Many northern US and Canadian songbirds pass this way, along with kettles of migrating raptors to watch for in the skies and a plethora of waders along the Atlantic shore. In spring, Cape May's breeding species will be settled and in full nuptial plumage, whilst in autumn their numbers are swollen by throngs of young birds and migrant flocks - and the southbound migration of Monarch butterflies adds yet another exciting twist!
