Take your pick of two terrific tours focusing on the North Norfolk coast and Norfolk Broads in May 2018:

NORFOLK COAST - North Norfolk In Spring
Fri 11th - Mon 14th May with Gary Elton
In May, shorebirds are busy along the North Norfolk coast, resplendent now in their summer garb: Ruffs with flamboyant ruffs, burnt sienna Curlew Sandpipers, sooty black Spotted Redshanks and rufous-pink Red Knot. May is also the best month to get to grips with warbler song, learning to tell Garden Warbler from Blackcap, and separating Sedge Warbler from Reed Warbler. From our base at a comfortable seaside hotel in Old Hunstanton, we're ideally placed to explore the birding hotspots along the famous North Norfolk coast - including spring bird song at Titchwell, as well as visits to Holkham and Holme - Gary's home patch!

NORFOLK BROADS - Spring Wildlife
Mon 21st - Thu 24th May with Gary Elton
The tranquil Norfolk Broads form a watery wilderness that's home to breeding Bittern, Marsh Harrier, Common Crane, Cetti's Warbler and Bearded Tit. Spend some time tracking down the quiet reeling of Grasshopper Warbler and experience the beautiful, lilting song of Willow Warblers. Other May tour highlights include a boat trip out to the private hides at NWT Hickling Broad Reserve, an evening visit for Nightjars and a chance to see the first Swallowtail butterflies - plus 3 nights at award-winning farm barn accommodation close to the East Norfolk coast.
