Christopher Hall

Christopher has been mad about wildlife for as long as he can remember and a keen birder since he was a lad. Once old enough, he began travelling independently in search of wild places to explore and has now been to many parts of the world that he dreamt about as a boy. He is also a keen photographer and regularly gives illustrated talks on his travels to various groups.

Having graduated at The University of Birmingham with an Honours Degree in Biological Sciences, Christopher began his working life as a Science teacher, while also working part time as a tutor on birdwatching courses for the WEA and a tour leader for Sherwood Bird Tours.

In 1997 he set up his own company, New Horizons, organising and leading wildlife watching tours for a growing ‘family’ of loyal regulars. Since then, he has led almost 250 tours to approaching 50 different countries from Svalbard in Arctic Norway to Antarctica, and from Mongolia to Mexico.

Christopher’s goal is to provide a top-quality wildlife experience at a relaxed pace in a nice social atmosphere and we are delighted to welcome him to the team of Limosa guides.
